Behaviour Management
Organise an in-house workshop and help your educators understand strategies that work and the seven common mistakes educators make in guiding behaviour:
1. Not considering the physical set up of the room.
2. Not understanding the formula two minutes / year of age that majority of children can offer (in regards to attention span).
3. Not looking and changing their service routine.
4. Not understanding that most children need to hear the same information 13x4.
5. Not considering the importance of children's values.
6. Not conducting circle group times (instead of group discussions).
7. Not paying attention to behavioural triggers.
